How to Enroll

Mobile App for Smartphones and tablets

Download HomeTown Bank’s free mobile banking app, designed for iPhone and Android phones. It’s very user-friendly to check your balances and history, make a transaction including transferring funds and paying bills. Plus, you have access to deposit checks with Mobile Deposit.

  1. You will first need to be enrolled in Online Banking.
  2. Then download our new app from your device's store:

Look for our leaf icon to ensure it's your HomeTown Bank!
 

CardValet App

Card Valet allows you to turn your debit card "on" & "off." When it's off, no one can use it; turn it "on” when you’re ready to:

  • Helps protect your cards from fraud
  • Limit purchases by merchant type, location, or dollar amount
  • Receive notifications

Mobile Deposit

Making a deposit has never been easier with HomeTown’s Mobile Deposit. Mobile Deposit is a feature available within the HomeTown Banking App for smartphones. To complete a deposit, it’s as easy as taking a picture!

  1. To use this service, please install either the iPhone or Android App (enrollment instructions above).
  2. Complete the enrollment request form located here and list the account(s) you wish to deposit checks via Mobile Deposit.
  3. You will receive notification confirming your enrollment. Some restrictions may apply.
Mobile Browser

Our online banking website is responsive to all devices giving you complete access from any web-enabled device with a wireless data connection. Just sign up for online banking and you can use HomeTown Bank's online banking system from anywhere.

Text Message Banking (SMS)

With Text Message Banking, you can receive basic account information via text. You can securely look up your account balances or recent transaction history by sending a text command to HomeTown Bank. The text commands are the following:

Bal  All Account Balances
Bal Mobile Short Name –  Single Account Balance
Hist  All Accounts Recent Activity
Hist Mobile Short Name–  Single Account Activity
Help – Text commands
Stop –  Cancel

  1. Log on to HomeTown Bank’s Online Banking
  2. Click Profile in the top right navigation.
  3. Go to Mobile banking
  4. Go to Text Mobile Settings
  5. Follow the steps for enrollment

Apple Pay

Apple Pay is designed with security in mind so when you make a payment, your card numbers are converted to a unique, transaction-specific code so your card numbers aren’t transmitted with the payment or shared with the merchant.

To make a payment, just hold your compatible Apple device near a contactless reader at a participating retailer with your finger on TouchID. You don't even have to open an app! Just look for the icons below at checkout.

  1. To add your HomeTown debit card to Apple Pay, simply open the Passbook app on your eligible iPhone running iOS 8.1 or higher
  2. Apple Watch users can add cards by opening the Apple Watch App on their iPhone running iOS 8.2 or higher
  3. To add your HomeTown Bank debit card, just enter your card information and Apple Pay will validate the info with us before the card is ready to use
  4. If you have a HomeTown Bank debit card on file with Apple iTunes®, you can import it into Apple Pay by entering the security code on the back of your card
